Catholic faith and outdoor life

Called into the wilderness —
in faith and in life.

What this is

Wilderness Catholic calls people out of comfort and into creation, where faith is tested, hearts are renewed, and beauty reveals the presence of God.

Scripture keeps sending people into the wilderness: Israel wandered there, Elijah fled there, and Christ was led there by the Spirit before he began his work. Most of us go with a canoe, a tent, or a deer tag, and come home with wet boots and a quieter mind. Wilderness Catholic is for people who suspect those two things are related.
